Purpose of use

TOTALFIX Systems are developed by Mediator Co Ltd and are designed to perform under pressure, structural repairs of steel, copper, iron, aluminum, polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC pipes with composite materials. In terms of the carried agent these types of applications are suitable for the following pipes repairs: field oil pipes, gas, water, most chemicals, resisting at a maximum heat of 150-180 degrees Celsius.
The repairing system can be applied for longitudinal defects of pipes, bends, branch joints, corner defects, welding defects and defects in the sealing areas of sectioning valves or flange joints, defects of mechanical or welded joint fittings.
They can also be used for the reinforcement of steel, copper, aluminum, iron, concrete, PE or PVC pressured ducts used for the distribution and transport of heating agent, oil, gas, water or wastewater, in order to get an increased external mechanical resistance for special operations (undercrossing by drilling, pipelines for release the balast water in fords, pipe mounting in concrete bed) and as an application of an extra mechanical protection to the outer layers of anticorrosion and thermal insulation of pipes or equipment laid out in environments with high mechanical stress or exposure to UV radiation.

Description of TOTALFIX systems

The systems can be used in the case of a 80% loss of the pipe's wall thickness on surfaces up to 150cm², due to a process of corrosion or mechanical external intervention (hitting, scratching, abrasion, etc.) or for small or medium size holes of max 120mm² due to corrosion, cracks, etc. at an operating pressure of 0.8 to 1.2 bar, depending on the size of perforation.
TOTALFIX systems can be used for protection or current/structural repairs on pipes and equipment made of steel, cooper, aluminium, cast iron, PE, PVC or concrete.

resistance to pressures of 10bar-up to 20bar with sealing epoxy putty
high electrical resistance
may be used on buried or aerial pipes
extended repair warranty compared to the traditional systems because the structure of adjacent surfaces is not affected by heating or mechanical processing
